Bike Rental in Pune Scooty on Rent in Pune for City & Hill Rides

Rent a bike or scooter in Pune with Hire N Ride for Peshwa heritage, cafes and dam-side sunsets

Pune is a city that runs on two wheels. Students, office-goers and weekend riders all use scooters and motorcycles to get around, and a bike rental in Pune lets you join them, from the Peshwa-era Shaniwar Wada to the Aga Khan Palace, the cafes of Koregaon Park and the sunset at Khadakwasla.

This is a great season to ride. The monsoon has ended, the hills around Pune are still green and the evenings are cool. From November to February, crisp mornings make a scooty on rent in Pune perfect for early rides to Vetal Tekdi or Parvati Hill, and weekend rides out to Sinhagad and Lonavala.

Hire N Ride connects you with local bike owners. Each listing shows the model, deposit and rules before you book, so you can choose a scooter for city traffic or a motorcycle for the ghats.

Planning a family trip to Mahabaleshwar or Lonavala too? Hire N Ride also lists self drive cars in Pune, so you can ride around the city on a scooter and switch to a car for the longer ghat drives.

Shaniwar Wada

Seat of the Peshwas from 1732

Shaniwar Wada was built in 1732 as the residence of the Peshwas, the prime ministers of the Maratha Empire. A fire in 1828 destroyed most of the palace, but its massive gates and walls still stand. Park outside and walk in. The old city lanes around it are full of temples and sweet shops. The Delhi Darwaza, the main gate, is studded with iron spikes once meant to stop war elephants.
